Sound Analysis V2 - Max/MSP to Quartz Composer

Version 2 of a beat detection and sound analysis patch made using Max/MSP that interfaces with Quartz Composer via MIDI.
It’s stripped right back. I only kept the attack analysis from the previous version and added a feature that is essentially a faster and adjustable version of the Audio Input patch that is already in Quartz Composer. I stripped it back because I just didn’t use the other features. The analysis worked but when analyzing pitch and noisiness you really need to have raw signals i.e. only the bass line signal or keyboards and nothing else. As I usually play with DJs attack detection and amplitude is really all that is useful.
NOTE - OPEN MAX/MSP SOUND ANALYSIS APPLICATION FIRST; BEFORE YOU OPEN QUARTZ COMPOSER
Max/MSP communicates with Quartz Composer via MIDI control change messages (CC).
Quartz Composer requires the Kineme plugins.

Included with the zip file is a Quartz Composer patch that connects to the Max/MSP Sound Analysis application and the Max/MSP source patch for your editing pleasure. If you do want to use the source patch then you will need to download bonk~ an object for Max/MSP.
